We had an amazing weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the racing and the experience as a whole. We were prepared for the difficulties getting into and out of the circuit as highlighted by others and so thus didn't spoil the event for us. A simple barrier system would have improved this and made it safer, along with more frequent trains later into the evening. This became quite dangerous with people pushing and others trying to surge forward and jump the queue from the sides.

There were officials controlling the flow onto the platform but unfortunately not the queue on the path. This worked well apart from the fact that the trains were less frequent and there was a huge backlog of people at the station. Leaving the track each day was not too bad although on race day we followed advice we had read and stayed at the track for longer and let the queues die down. However, on Sunday we got the train to the Biassono Lesmo Parco Station which was much more organised and only needed a 35 minute walk to our stand with no need for a bus.

The queueing and bag check areas in the park but prior to getting in the circuit were not greatly organised and this took more time than was necessary. We found the trains and the Black Line buses from Monza station really well organised. Getting to and from the circuit is a long process so leave LOTS of time. The cost of food and drink was comparable to that of other circuits we have been to (or indeed any large public event). There were plenty of toilet blocks with running water and we never had to queue for more than about 5 minutes. The atmosphere was incredible and the services around the stand were excellent. Our Grandstand (26A) was fantastic with outstanding views of the start/finish straight and podium. We have just returned from the Monza Grand Prix and what an amazing experience it was.
